At Focused Physiotherapy it is our mission to provide high quality effective, efficient and individualised physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to our patients.

Focused Physiotherapy has a team of skilled physiotherapists who are passionate about providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation service to individuals while also addressing the needs within our communities in the Waipa and King Country.

Focused Physiotherapy is an ACC registered provider providing treatment for both ACC related injuries but also private conditions.  You can come directly to the clinic and we will complete your ACC paperwork.

We work closely with your local GP and specialists. We can refer you directly to a specialist and send you for an X-ray or Ultrasound scan if necessary.

How Our Practice Works

On arrival, please introduce yourself to our reception staff and take a seat in our waiting room. We are happy for you to bring a support person with you to your appointment. Whilst we try to keep to appointment times, occasionally a short delay may occur. If your Physiotherapist is likely to be delayed for more than 10 minutes, we will let you know.

Your first appointment will include a physical examination and an interview to establish the basis of your current condition. You will be advised of the proposed treatment programme before we commence treatment. Our Physiotherapist will discuss likely outcomes and time frames with you as the programme progresses.

If you become concerned about any aspect of your treatment, we can arrange for a second opinion to be provided about your progress. This can be provided by your Doctor, another physiotherapist or specialist of your choice, at your expense.

If you are unable to attend your appointment or you are unavoidably delayed, please let us know as soon as possible. Please let your physiotherapist know of any cultural considerations you would like us to be aware of.
